It has become much more important to advertise your restaurant online as well during the last few years. With the detailed listings on our Infosites, you are sure to get some new business! Here are al the information regarding listing your restaurant on a Infosite:
1. Costs
Listing your restaurant costs only R500 per year, and you can pay either with a credit card online, or if you prefer doing a bank transfer, we send you our banking details.
2. Information about your restaurant
We provide an extensive information base on all of the restaurants listed on our Infosites, making sure that the potential client gets all the relevant information that he/she would need to decide where they're going to eat. Here is a list of all the details we capture in our database:
- Restaurant name
- Area/Suburb (if applicable - the smaller towns don't have these for example)
- Contact person
- Full description as long as you want (the more the better!)
- Textual directions
- Telephone number
- Fax number
- Cellphone number
- Email address
- Website address
- Kosher (yes/no)
- Halaal (yes/no)
- Vegetarian (yes/no)
- Short description on breakfast, lunch and dinner
- Business hours
- Licensed
- Corkage fee, if applicable
- Dress code
- Restaurant type (you select all that apply, a big list containing for example African, Boerekos, Chinese, Grills, Italian, Portuguese, Take Aways, etc.)
- Your restaurants ambiance (you select all that apply: family friendly, good value, relaxed, romantic, sophisticated, traditional or trendy)
- Up to 12 photos of your restaurant
3. Monthly reports
Every month you will receive a report containing how many unique daily visitors you had the previous month, a summary of all the email enquiries you received through the site, as well as all the information we have on your restaurant, in case you'd like to request us to make changes to it.
4. Restaurant Types
As mentioned above, your restaurant can apply to one or more restaurant type. This means that apart from the full list of restaurants, your restaurant will be listed on the specific type sections as well. (for example, if your restaurant is an Italian restaurant, but also do seafood and pizzas, then it will be seen on the Italian, Seafood and Pizza sections of the site)
5. Ambiance
The same as with Restaurant Types, your restaurant can apply to one or more "ambiance" - this allows the customers to narrow down their search even further - which also means that your restaurant will be listed on each "ambiance" section of the site as well!
6. Special Algorithm
To ensure that each restaurant gets an equal amount of top position exposure in the list of restaurants, we have developed a very snazzy algorithm to ensure just that! It basically means the restaurant with the least amount of clicks, is on top!
